Am I Even Qualified?

So, what makes me qualified to talk about GLP-1s? Honestly… fair question.

No, I’m not a nutritionist or a health coach. I’m just a regular person who wanted to live healthier and finally fix my relationship with food. Over the past year and a half, I’ve gone from 230 pounds to 155—and I’m still going. I was determined to do this the right way.

You hear a lot of the negatives about GLP-1s—hair loss, muscle loss, all that. For me? No hair loss. And I’ve been building muscle back, slowly but surely. I’ve never looked at GLP-1 as just a “weight loss drug.” For me, it’s been a total lifestyle shift.

Honestly, I could talk about this stuff for days (which is basically why I started this blog).

The thing is, unless you’ve been on a GLP-1, it’s really hard to fully understand what it’s like. I’ve watched all the videos and followed the health coaches, but sometimes their advice just doesn’t hit the same.

get what it’s like to not be hungry—but still having to remind yourself to eat. I get the quiet when the “food noise” goes away. I get going from craving everything… to suddenly not wanting anything. I’ve been there—cooking something, taking one bite, and thinking, Why did I even make this?

And don’t even get me started on TikTok. These days it feels like everyone’s trying to go viral or sell me something I don’t need. I wanted to create a space that’s not like that—a place where it’s okay to ask questions, be curious, and learn as you go.

Has my journey been perfect? Not even close.
Do I still eat fast food? Yep—because let’s be real, sometimes that’s all there’s time for.
Do I hit my protein goal every day? Definitely not.

But here’s the thing: your journey doesn’t need to be perfect. You just have to start.

I’m not here pretending to have it all figured out. I’m just sharing what’s worked for me, what hasn’t, and everything in between. This journey isn’t perfect—but it’s mine. And honestly, that’s enough.

STAY POSITIVELY YOU!
